Iain Turrell

Iain Turrell graduated with Distinction from his Msc in Architecture and the Environment at the University of Portsmouth. During his Msc Iain developed a sustainability assessment tool to assess the social sustainability of urban developments. He also uses thermal modelling of buildings to assess energy usage and often lectures on using such methods to assess the thermal, lighting and environmental performance of buildings. Iain has a BSc (Hons) 2:1 from the University of Portsmouth in Sustainable Design and Environmental Management.

Iain was working at the Environment Centre in Southampton before joining SRE in November 2008 as a Sustainability Consultant. Iain undertakes most of the Code for Sustainable Homes Assessments for SRE.
