Alan has been working as an Energy Services Specialist for 3 years. During his MSc in Building Services Engineering Alan's thesis focused on the use of daylight in buildings and control strategies for lighting systems. Alan has a 1st class BSc in Cybernetics and Control Engineering, is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and

Technology (IET), and is an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers. Alan has long had an interest in enhancing the environmental performance of buildings and has had a number of published articles on the subject. Alan supports SRE as an Energy Consultant on commercial projects.
