The Sixth Form Centre is required to achieve a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating to address Brighton & Hove planning policy. SRE undertook the BREEAM New Construction (NC) assessment, energy modelling and Building Regulation Part L2 compliance reports for the scheme. The specification of high performance thermal fabric, excellent daylight levels and robust materials and finishes have all supported the delivery of the BREEAM requirements and resulted in a sustainable and energy efficient building which provides excellent facilities and an internal environment that encourages learning.
