A feasibility study for small scale wind turbines was required by Portsmouth City Council as part of their wider sustainability strategy. 

SRE installed roof-mounted wind monitoring equipment on high rise buildings and undertook a 9-month monitoring programme to identify the relative feasibility of 3 potential sites.  As a result SRE confirmed the viability of small scale wind turbines given average wind speeds met the necessary threshold.
