With increasing environmental standards, improved air tightness, the integration of low carbon technologies and intelligent heating controls, building owners and end users increasingly require Post Occupancy Evaluations (PoE) to review the actual scheme’s performance against the proposed design. PoE are often required in support of BREEAM NC assessments and take place at the end of the 12 month defects period.

Through SRE’s historical on-site residential monitoring programme SRE can draw on over four years of data and experience in order to advise and support clients in reviewing their scheme’s operational performance.

SRE can undertake PoE on residential and commercial developments in support of BREEAM or client requirements through analysing the technical and environmental performance of the scheme, including interviewing and facilitating workshops with tenants and building users.
