SRE provided a detailed Energy Statement and Sustainability Statement (including BREEAM EcoHomes and Code for Sustainable Homes pre-assessments) for the new development of 87 apartments and townhouses on an existing brownfield site. The Energy Statement outlined how the development would offset at least 10% CO2 emissions via on-site renewable energy technologies.
The Sustainability Statement identified wide ranging social and environmental measures in order for the scheme to achieve BREEAM EcoHomes 'Very Good' and Code for Sustainable Homes 'Level 3' rating.
