A residential block of 17 homes including nine homes for shared ownership and eight for supported living for people with learning difficulties. SRE worked with Austins Builders to deliver the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 assessment, Building Regulation compliance and address the on-site renewable energy planning requirement.
Merton Road, Wimbledon was named ‘Winner’ of ‘Best Small Development’ at the National Housing Awards 2013 and was recognised as an ‘affordable home ownership scheme that does not compromise on design and build quality’. The judges praised the scheme for its innovative design and ‘using standards of best practise for value for money, customer care and accessing and valuing diversity’.
