Wellington Care Home, Waterlooville

An 80-bed care home constructed using timber frame in a contemporary style over 3 storeys with external landscaping and private gardens for the specialist care provider Cinnamon Care.

SRE undertook the BREEAM NC 2014 assessments, along with the Low and Zero Carbon Feasibility study, for the scheme, in order to meet Winchester City Council planning policy requirements and the sustainability standards of the care operator.

SRE’s BREEAM assessor worked closely with Highwood Construction to ensure the required performance standards and BREEAM criteria were effectively secured at the earliest opportunity, thus ensuring a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating was achieved at practical completion.
