Cara joined us from a main contractor, where she worked as an in-house Sustainability Manager for over 8 years and now, heads up SRE’s Sustainability Team. Cara’s areas of expertise include sustainability strategies, waste reduction and resource efficiency, as well as BREEAM, LEED, Ska Rating, WELL and energy modelling. Cara is also a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and a Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) Ambassador.

Cara studied Architecture and Environmental Design and after, Environmental Engineering at Nottingham University’s School of the Built Environment.

Other than the environment, Cara is passionate about health & wellbeing and interior design. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in nature with her three children.
