Sustainability / Building Physics Consultant

To keep up with the demand for our services, we’re looking to fill a number of positions in both our Building Physics and Sustainability Teams.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide clients with high-quality technical and strategic advice on a broad range of services including Sustainability & Energy Statements, SAP/SBEM modelling, Whole Life Carbon Assessments, Internal Daylight Modelling, Daylight Sunlight Overshadowing Analysis, Thermal Comfort & Overheating, M&E Optimisation, BREEAM and Materials Lifecycle Cost Analysis.
  • Play an active part in SRE’s growing team.
  • Deliver work of a high quality, often to demanding timescales.
  • Expand our client offering into new and exciting areas of sustainability.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Candidates will be expected to have:

  • Over 2-years’ experience of working within the built environment
  • A relevant degree / masters in either Sustainability, Architecture, Engineering, Physics, Maths
  • Experience in using CAD software such as Sketch Up / Rhino / Grasshopper
  • Experience in using IES / Design Builder and Radiance / Ladybug tools

The job will be full-time and will be based in central Guildford, Surrey. Salary will be dependent on experience and ability.
