Lamya Salem

I am the Sustainability Director at SRE and an accredited engineer in LEED, WELL, GSAS and PMP. With over twenty years’ experience in the sustainability industry, my areas of expertise include energy modelling, building performance, daylight analysis, decarbonization, certification management and GRI standards. I am an Architect and have a MSc in Sustainability from Harvard University.

My specific interest lies in the impact buildings have on occupant’s health and wellbeing and I've performed several research studies related to this topic. I was awarded “Sustainable Project of the Year 2022: Residential & Commercial”, competing against several countries in the Middle East, for my work in Qetaifan Island North from Middle East Consultant Awards.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, dancing, cooking, and travelling.
