Nikos is Technical Director at SRE and an experienced environmental designer and building physics engineer. He performs studies on energy efficiency, carbon offset and LZC technologies of non-domestic buildings (SBEM Level 5, Part L2 compliance, Apache HVAC & ASHRAE), dynamic thermal simulation of buildings, overheating and thermal comfort assessments, daylight and insolation – shading studies, right of light calculations, micro-climate pedestrian comfort assessments, external and internal CFD studies, parametric and optimisation studies, thermal bridging calculations.

Nikos is a qualified Civil Engineer with over fifteen years’ experience in the building sector. He is an accredited CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant, an IES Level 5 Assessor, a BREEAM International New Construction Assessor and a LEED Green Associate. Nikos has an MSc in Sustainable and Ecological Engineering from Aegean University in Greece and a combined BEng and MEng in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece.

In his spare time Nikos enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.
