Operational building performance optimised at Howard Court

SRE is helping optimise the building performance of the existing Howard Court ‘Build to Rent’ development by identifying where sustainability improvements can deliver the greatest value.

SRE’s team recently visited the site in High Wycombe to assess the asset in operation and understand how it performs for both its owners and residents. Working closely with the asset manager, PGIM, and property manager, Touchstone Residential Property Management, SRE is delivering a BREEAM In-Use assessment and Post Occupancy Evaluation at Howard Court.

Our specialists are supporting the property owners in working towards a targeted ‘Very Good’ BREEAM In-Use rating, uplifting the rating of the asset’s previous certification. In addition, our Post Occupancy Evaluation has provided insight into resident satisfaction across key indoor environmental quality factors, including thermal comfort, lighting, noise, air quality, ventilation, controllability and building design.

Together, these assessments give the owners a more complete picture of Howard Court, combining sustainability performance with the experience of the people using the building. This enables them to identify practical opportunities to improve performance, support resident wellbeing and drive longer-term value through sustainability.
