Storage King Chelmsford opens its doors to customers

Storage King's new Chelmsford facility has open its doors to customers.

We’re proud to have supported Storage King and Hines in meeting their ambitious sustainability goals with this latest scheme. SRE’s specialists are delivering BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, we've minimised operational energy costs by achieving an EPC ‘A’ rating through our energy modelling work and have embedded a low carbon design philosophy through our whole life carbon assessment and sustainable procurement plan. In addition, our indoor air quality plan, internal daylight and thermal comfort assessments ensured climate resilience and user comfort remained high on the agenda throughout.

This 70,000 sq ft development continues our successful partnership with Storage King which has seen us drive value through sustainability for their facilities across the UK. We’re proud to be playing a key role in delivering their vision for a Net Zero future and are looking forward to continuing this relationships on their upcoming projects.
